First of its kind app, keeps track of your products’ warranty information and reminds you with voice reminders and live home screen widget. The app saves purchase details of your products and alerts when the warranty is about to expire.
Date and time to remind about warranty expiration can be customized.
The home screen widget is available only for phones with Symbian^3, Anna, Belle OS and C6-00, N97 and N97 mini.
Warranty Alert helps you to maintain your product’s warranty details and reminds you when the warranty expiry date is nearing. The home screen widget helps you to regularly know the status of your product’s warranty.
Home screen widget is only available for Symbian^3, Anna, Belle phones and for Nokia C6-00, N97 and N97 mini.
The application runs silently in the background without showing itself in the list of open applications.
Adding new product:
Click on ‘My Products’ tile
Click ‘+New Product’ button in My Products page
Enter product and warranty details
Click save button (A Floppy disk image)
Viewing the list of products:
Click on ‘My Products’ tile
List of products are displayed
Viewing the list of products with warranty period expired:
Click on ’Warranty expired’ tile
List of products are displayed
Viewing product details:
Click on ’My Products/Warranty Expired’ tile
List of products are displayed
Click on the product you wish to view more details about it
Editing an existing product:
Click on ‘My Products/Warranty Expired’ tile
Click the pencil shaped edit button of the product to be edited
Make necessary changes
Click save button (A Floppy disk image)
Deleting a product:
Click on ‘My Products/Warranty Expired’ tile
Click the trash button of the product to be deleted
Accepting the confirmation dialog deletes the product
Choosing desired currency for products:
Click on ‘My Products’ tile
Click ‘+New Product’ button / pencil shaped edit button in My Products page
Click on the currency code displayed to the right of price
In the resulting page, scroll the desired currency to the highlighted rectangular area
Then click done button(A tick symbol)
Choosing Years/Months for warranty period:
Click on ‘My Products’ tile
Click ‘+New Product’ button / pencil shaped edit button in My Products page
Click the ‘Years’ button to toggle between Years and Months.
Click save button (A Floppy disk image)
Choosing purchase date:
Click on ‘My Products’ tile
Click ‘+New Product’ button / pencil shaped edit button in My Products page
Click on the purchase date box
In the resulting page, scroll the desired month, day and year to the highlighted rectangular area.
Then click done button (A tick symbol)
Settings page:
You can enable/disable application’s auto start facility by clicking On/Off button. Please note that if home screen widget is added, the application is auto started irrespective of this setting.
You can set the number of days to be alerted before the warranty period expires by clicking the ‘Alert me before’ button.
You can set the time at which to be reminded by clicking ‘Alert me at’ button.
